At Wimbletech CIC, we take pride in our team is made of 60% superwomen!
We believe in women’s power and encourage women to take the lead in every stage of our CIC. We would like to play our part and do our best to create a gender diverse working environment in our coworking spaces.
With this motivation, we organised an International Women’s Day Celebration for all the women in our city and invited them to a huge gathering, completely free. We asked a various range of women, from local influencers, successful mumspreneurs, to Award-winning authors to join us to share their successes, failures, and challenges in their journey towards happiness and prosperity.
We had an amazing gathering with seven inspiring women, three powerful presentations, one great panel session and lots of participants. Our event was followed by a networking session.
Suzie Parkus, director of SRP Enterprises and the Keynote Speaker, shared her very own experience on ‘How to be a woman in business in a man’s world’.
Raina Kalhan, the founder of Best of Me NLP, presented ‘How To Be The Best You’
During the panel discussion moderated by Suzie Parkus, The ‘Each For Equal’ theme was discussed between our speakers Raina Kalhan, Sapna Pieroux (Founder of InnerVisions ID), Katie Meech (Sustainability Change Maker), Deepali Nangia (Founder and Investor of Atomico), Sarah Chapman (Founder and Director of Chapman Consulting) and Praveen Paul (Co-founder of Pint of Science).
Sapna Pieroux (Founder of InnerVisions ID) told us her amazing success story sincerely and truly inspired the participants.
Following the event, we had networking in which participants found the chance to engage with speakers and other participants.
