We truly believe in the power of the Network, and yesterday that power really shone through when we joined a workshop at the British Library exploring new ways to build communities from library settings….

The afternoon began with talks from The British Library Business & IP Centre, de Bibliotheek, Erik Boekesteijn, Wimbletech CIC, the Idea Store and Storyhouse. All of the talks from innovators in the library world shared many key themes, including the importance of Community.

Following on from the workshop, 20 librarians from the Netherlands came to visit Wimbletech and Wimbledon Library today, to see our partnership with Merton Libraries in practice. One of the visitors, Riya, saying, “It’s idealism in practice” 😊
