Lisa has brought her experience working with luxury brand Stewart Parvin to Clasp London, creating a brand that delivers in its desire to find beautiful, fashion-led jewellery pieces in quality materials, at an affordable price.
I started the business in September this year when my youngest child started full time school. It’s been a really intense few months with sourcing the right products, developing the brand and setting up the website (a work in progress, but coming soon!) I set up my social media pages last month and started selling via my Facebook shop 2 weeks ago. I had a good response to my Black Friday offer and in particular got really good engagement on Instagram.

The Clasp London brand was born out of a desire to find beautiful, fashion-led jewellery pieces in quality materials, at an affordable price. Owner Lisa Karter has a career background in fashion and retail, and a passion for collecting beautiful accessories. Having worked as a Production Manager for luxury brand Stewart Parvin, Lisa wanted to create a beautiful brand that would make the recipient feel as though they had received something really special, but with a reasonable price tag to make it accessible. All of our pieces are manufactured in Thailand and bear the Sterling Silver 925 Hallmark. Gold and rose gold items are flash-plated in either 14 or 18 carat gold. Our stock is managed by our UK fulfilment centre, which means that we are able to offer fast and reliable delivery from the United Kingdom.
